Description
West Lodge and East Lodge are a pair of cottages built around 1903 by Percy Richard Morley-Horder, located at the entrance to Greys Mallory. They are rough cast rendered with steeply pitched plain tile roofs that have hipped ends facing away from the driveway, while the ends facing the driveway feature small gables at the ridge. The cottages have wide eaves and are one storey with an attic. On the ground floor, there are three-light casements with leaded panes, and in the small gable at the attic, there are four-light casements with leaded panes. The entrance archway, which separates the cottages, is large and semicircular with stone dressings and features a wrought iron gate and a plank door set back in a porch. There are two red brick chimney stacks on the cottages. The archway has a narrow hipped plain tile roof and is topped with a pair of large wrought iron gates.
