Description
Quarry Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century, featuring a cross-wing on the right and an early 19th-century main range. It is constructed of red brick with a slate roof and has brick end stacks. The building is three stories high and has a three-window range, with the main front facing the garden. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with an overlight and a 19th-century ironwork porch that has an ogee-shaped roof. The ground and first floors have 12-pane unhorned sash windows with flat brick arch heads, while the second floor features 9-pane unhorned sashes, also with flat brick arch heads.
At the rear, the farmhouse has a three-story, two-window range. The central entrance here also includes a six-panel door with an overlight and a flat hood supported by brackets. To the right on the ground floor, there is a 12-pane unhorned sash window, while the left side has three-light casements on the ground and first floors. The right side features two-light casements on both the first and second floors. The cross-wing to the right is encased in 18th-century brick and has a slate roof. It is a single-storey and attic structure with an irregular four-window range. The interior has not been inspected.
