Description
Huntington Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1700. It is constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof and features a brick ridge stack on the east wing. The central range is aligned east-west and faces south, with east and west crosswings. The east crosswing projects boldly to the north, while both wings project slightly to the south. The building has two storeys and an attic, with storey bands and an ovolo-moulded eaves cornice.
The design includes a pair of gabled crosswings that flank a slightly recessed central range, which has a symmetrical arrangement of windows: one window on each side of the central door, and one window above, making a total of three windows across the front. The windows are casements with segmental heads. The central entrance features an early 19th-century six-panel door with a fanlight and a pedimented doorcase.
The right-hand wing has a depth of four bays; the two front bays are blind, while the two rear bays contain glazing bar sashes. The left-hand wing is one bay deep and has casements, along with a single-storey two-bay wing at the rear. The interior has not been inspected but may hold interesting features.
