Description

The Council House is a mid-18th century building located on High Green. It is two storeys high and features five sash windows with plain aprons. The entrance has a modern door set within an original moulded architrave topped with a pediment, and there are steps leading up to it. The building has quoins, a moulded cornice, and a parapet, with a tiled roof. To the left side, there is a four-window wing that is set back from the main structure.
