Description

This is a group of 19th-century wrought iron gates, a surviving section of railings, and gate piers originally fronting the Council House. The gates and railings are in a flamboyant style, and were formerly gilded. The design is set into a low stone wall. The gate piers are rusticated and feature a cornice cap and a ball finial on each.
