Description

The Former Walhouse National School, built in 1828, is a central two-storey house finished in stucco. It features a projecting porch with an inscribed plaque above the date. The roof is hipped and covered with old tiles. On either side of the main building are gabled schoolroom blocks that retain their original windows. The windows in the gables are circular, while those on the ground floor have pointed arched heads and drip moulds.
