Description
The buildings at 17, 19, and 21 Coten End form a range of 17th-century properties originally constructed using a square timber frame with painted brick infilling. The windows are now a mix of modern casements and sash windows. Two 19th-century shopfronts, designed to be unobtrusive in a village setting, are present. The entrances are via 4-panel doors and boarded doors. A section of the building between numbers 19 and 21 was rebuilt using brickwork. The roofs are tiled and feature small gabled dormers on numbers 17 and 19. An original chimney stack is located on number 17. Numbers 3 to 21 (the odd numbers) form a distinct group.
