Description

Rock Cottage is a house dating from the mid- to late 18th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of sandstone ashlar and pinkish-brown brick, with a plain tile roof. The house is two storeys high and has one window on the first floor. It features casement windows throughout, with the central window positioned beneath an elliptical arch. A 20th-century panel door in a 20th-century surround provides access to the rear. The roof is half-hipped to the right, with front end stacks topped with cornices. The interior retains exposed beams and rafters in both ground floor rooms.
