Description
This gatepier, located approximately 25 metres south-southeast of Chadshunt Hall, dates from the early 18th century and is constructed of limestone ashlar. It features a moulded plinth and cornice, with a projecting face on each side that has five alternating small and large fielded panels. The stem for the finial is gadrooned and fluted, although the finial itself is missing. The gatepier may have been reset at some point. It is included in the listing for its group value with the nearby Chadshunt Hall.
