It dates from the 17th century and features a timber frame with whitewashed brick infill, partly underbuilt in brick and some plaster. The cottage has a tile roof and a brick external stack. It has a two-unit plan, is one storey high with an attic, and has a one-window range. The front includes a 19th-century ribbed door, a plank door leading to a passage at the rear, and a small canted bay window, all covered by a continuous lean-to tile roof. The windows are 19th-century casements with glazing bars. The right return side showcases jowled posts and a 19th-century external stack with a fire window. At the rear, there is a 19th-century brick outshut. Inside, the cottage features exposed timber framing.
