Description
The Old Vicarage is a vicarage that has been converted into a house. It features early 18th century and late 18th to early 19th century sections. The building is constructed of brick with tile and slate roofs and has brick stacks. It has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, displaying a three-window range. The late 18th to early 19th century garden front features sash windows with moulded frames and gauged brick flat arches. The hipped roof is adorned with paired shaped modillions. The entrance, located on the right side, includes a half-glazed door with arched panels and a wooden doorcase that has Ionic pilasters, an entablature with a triglyph frieze, and dentils. The fenestration is irregular. The early 18th century section has a coped gable parapet with kneelers and a string course at the attic level. At the rear, a staircase projection includes a cross window with glazing bars set under a segmental brick arch. There are early 20th century additions to the property. The interior has not been inspected.
