Description
The walls surrounding the north, west, and south-west sides of St Mary Magdalene's Churchyard in Tanworth-in-Arden are likely from the 16th century, with possible earlier origins and 19th-century alterations. The walls are L-shaped in plan and constructed from coursed lias stone, featuring double-chamfered copings and rounded tops. They stand approximately 1.25 meters high, rising to 1.5 meters in places, and include three inserted gate openings with gates. The walls are part of a group of listed items within the churchyard.
