Description

This is a barn located approximately 10 metres south of Rushway Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century with later repairs. The structure is timber-framed and features clapboard, weatherboard, and cob cladding or infill. It has limestone rubble piers at the entrance to the threshing floor and a corrugated-iron roof. The barn consists of four bays and has 20th-century doors leading to the threshing floor. Inside, there is a cob partition, renewed principal rafters, and tie beams. The barn is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
