Description
Glebe Farm Barn and attached animal housing, located approximately 20 meters west of the farmhouse, dates from the 17th to 18th century. The structure is timber framed with brick infill and weatherboarding, topped with a tile roof. It consists of three bays and features central plank doors, with a stable door inserted in the right corner. The roof has trenched purlins and a queen post design, and there are openings for pigeons in the top left corner. The rear of the barn displays exposed framing. The attached animal housing on the left is rebuilt in whitewashed brick at the front, while the rear and end are timber framed with diagonal braces and brick infill, also topped with a tile roof. This barn is part of an interesting group with the farmhouse and other attached buildings.
