Description

The gate pier immediately to the west of Clopton House is likely from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick with a rubble plinth and features an ashlar finial. The panelled pier has a brick band beneath an ashlar cornice topped with a ball finial. This pier is one of a pair, with the other pier connected to a wall that extends from the front of the stable block built in the 1840s.
