Description
This chest tomb, located 9 meters south of the chancel of the Church of St Mary Magdalene, dates from around 1776 to 1799. It is made of limestone ashlar and measures approximately 1.75 meters high, 1 meter wide, and 2 meters long. The tomb features a stepped base and a chamfered plinth. There are two fielded panels on the long sides and one on the short sides, with brattished decoration on the frieze. The surmounting slab has a hollow-moulding along the underside of its edge, and there is an eroded inscription. All the listed items in the churchyard are considered to form a group.
