Description
11 Butter Street is a house, likely once two cottages, dating from the 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of whitewashed brick and features a brick dentil cornice. The roof is made of concrete tiles and has a brick ridge stack. The building has a T-plan layout and is one storey high with an attic, presenting a two-window range. The entrance consists of a late 20th-century six-panelled door with an overlight. There are late 19th-century canted bay windows, with a four-pane sash on the right and one abutting No. 13 on the left. A continuous slate lean-to roof extends across the entire facade, and there are dormers with late 20th-century casements. The interior has not been inspected.
