Description
The Rectory is a rectory built in 1796, located on Butter Street in Alcester. It is constructed of red brick and features a brick dentil cornice. The roof is tiled and has stone-coped brick gable parapets, along with brick end stacks. The building has a central staircase plan and stands three storeys tall with a three-window range. The entrance includes a three-panelled door with a fanlight that has glazing bars. The doorcase is moulded wood, adorned with reeded pilaster strips, consoles, and a broken pediment. The ground floor windows are sashes with 16 panes, framed by whitewashed rusticated stone flat arches that include keystones. There are extensive mid-19th century additions to the rear of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
