Description
Primrose Cottage is likely an 18th-century cottage, with 19th and 20th-century additions and alterations to the rear. It is constructed of rendered and whitewashed walls with a thatched roof, and a brick gable and stack. A range to the rear is built of painted brick with a slate roof. The cottage is one and a half storeys high. The central entrance features a plank door set within a plank architrave with an open pedimented hood supported by consoles. There are two-light windows to the left of the doorway, and a single window on each floor in the gable end wall, all dating to the 20th century. A left-end stack features a moulded capping. The interior of the cottage was not inspected.
