Description

Barn Cottage is a small 17th-century timber-framed house with red brick infill panels. It was extended in the 18th century using red brick. The roof is steeply pitched with plain tiles and gabled ends. The front of the house has two bays, plus a one-bay extension, displaying 18th or 19th-century three-light casement windows with leaded panes. A central doorway is now accessed via a modern porch. A timber-framed gabled wing at the rear creates an L-shaped plan.
