Description
The Church of Holy Trinity is a parish church located in Norton Lindsey, dating from the early 13th century. It is a small, two-cell structure built of stone with tiled roofs. The nave features three-light south windows and an early 13th-century south doorway. At the west end of the nave, there is a gabled bellcote. The chancel has small early 13th-century north and south lancet windows, along with a restored 14th-century three-light east window. A later 19th-century north aisle includes lancet windows and a vestry added in 1880. The church also has a Victorian timber south porch. Inside, there is a double chamfered chancel arch and a three-bay north arcade from the Victorian period. The pulpit is panelled and dated 1682, while the font is a simple design believed to be Saxon. The roofs and furnishings were updated in the late 19th century.
