Description
The Church of St. Milburga features a churchyard cross located approximately 4 metres south of the church. This cross dates from the 15th century and is made of limestone. It consists of three square steps leading up to a square base, which has corners that are chamfered and moulded into an octagonal shape with a moulded top edge. The stump of the cross has an octagonal shaft. The cross head is carved with depictions of the crucifixion and the Virgin and Child, although the latter may now be housed within the church.
