Description
Cock Bevington Farm House is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with rebuilding and additions from the mid-19th century. The building is timber framed, featuring small framing with red brick infill, while the left half is made of mid-19th century brick. It has a late 20th-century tile roof and brick external end stacks, which have mostly been rebuilt. The house has a two-unit plan and has been much extended, standing two storeys high with an attic that includes a single late 20th-century casement roof dormer. The front façade has a two-window range and a gabled single-storey wing added to the right. The entrance features a 19th-century plank door with a simple moulded wood architrave and a hood supported by shaped brackets. The windows are 19th-century wood and iron casements set under segmental arches, with the ground-floor window retaining its original shutters. The right end of the house shows exposed framing with rendered infill, while the left end is fully rendered. The rear of the house is from the 19th century. The interior has not been inspected.
