Description
Horsleys Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse constructed of squared, coursed limestone, with brick on the left gable end. It features a slate roof laid in diminishing courses, with an ashlar end stack on the right that has a moulded base and cornice, and a brick end stack on the left. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range with a two-unit plan. In the centre, there is a 20th-century wooden extension that includes a plank door set within a stone arch. To the immediate left of this, there is a 20th-century casement window, while on both sides, there are three-light paned casements also with stone arches. On the first floor, there are three 2-light casements with wooden lintels. To the left, there is a 19th-century one-storey brick kitchen range. The interior is reported to have old beams and an open fireplace.
