Description

The Packhorse Bridge over Knee Brook is a historic structure located at National Grid Reference SP 2450 3754. It likely has origins from the 16th century but was rebuilt in the 18th century, with some repointing done in the 20th century. The bridge is constructed from coursed-squared and dressed limestone and features a central pier that extends out to either side to form a cutwater. It has two arches and includes a 20th-century railing. This bridge was previously listed under the parish of Tidmington but was removed from the list on 15 August 2017.
