Description
The gate piers, gates, and walls at the front of Clifford Manor, located at the end of the village street in Clifford Chambers, date from around 1700. They are constructed from limestone ashlar and dressed squared stone, with brick on the left end. The square piers rest on plain plinths and feature stopped chamfers and a cornice topped with ball finials on cushion mouldings. The wrought-iron paired gates are adorned with a scrolly overthrow. The walls extend approximately 30 meters to the right and 13.5 meters to the left, showcasing ashlar saddleback coping and ending with a ball finial on a plinth. Additionally, there is a further 6.5 meters of brick wall on the left end, which has a rubble plinth and similar coping and end finial.
