Description
This cart shed, built between 1772 and 1797, is located approximately 70 metres north-north-west of Alveston Hill Farmhouse in Stratford-upon-Avon. The structure is single-storey and consists of three bays, constructed from brick with a tile roof. It features an open front supported by two deep brick piers that hold the roof trusses. The left side of the building has two raking buttresses. Inside, the roof structure includes tie beams and collar trusses with raking queen struts, clasped purlins, and halved and crossed ends.
