Description

A pair of houses dating to the 1830s, situated on Main Road in Tiddington, Stratford-upon-Avon. The buildings are constructed of brick with stucco dressings, and have a slate roof punctuated by a brick stack at the centre. They are built in a Georgian style, with a symmetrical facade of four windows across two storeys. The eaves are plain. Each house has an entrance featuring a doorcase with pilasters, a frieze, a cornice, and an overlight above a four-panel door. The windows have sills and rusticated wedge lintels with keys above the sixteen-pane sashes on the upper floor and the twelve-pane sashes above the entrances. The property represents a well-preserved example of its type and period, demonstrating group value.
