Description
The Grange is a house from the early 19th century that has been converted into offices. It is constructed of rendered brick and features a plinth and a bracketed eaves cornice. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, with a brick stack at one end. The building has a central-staircase layout and is two stories high, with a three-window range that includes 12-pane sash windows with moulded stone surrounds. The entrance features six-panelled double doors with a decorative fanlight, set within a porch that has pilasters and a cornice. There are additional 12-pane sash windows on the sides and rear of the building. To the right, there is a 19th-century service range, along with a 20th-century one-storey extension at the rear. Inside, the property has four-panelled doors with moulded architraves, plaster cornices in the hall and main rooms, and six-panelled doors on the first floor. The staircase features barley-sugar balusters and a turned baluster newel.
