Description

This is a terrace of four houses located on High Street in Henley-in-Arden. They were built in the late 18th century. The houses are constructed of brick laid in a Flemish bond pattern and have gabled tile roofs with two brick stacks positioned along the ridge. Each house has a single-unit plan.

The exterior of the terrace is three storeys high and features a symmetrical four-window arrangement. A brick cornice with wide dentils runs along the top. The entrances, located flanking a central passageway and at each end, have architraves with bracketed canopies sheltering mostly six-fielded-panel doors. Two pairs of canted bay windows are present; the first floor windows have rubbed brick flat arches above 8/8 sash windows within flush frames, and there are four smaller attic windows with 3/3 sashes, each with horns. Number 76 has a six-fielded-panel front door with two glazed panels. Number 78 features a cornice and iron opening lights to its bay window. Number 80 has a six-fielded-panel door with two glazed panels. Number 82 has a four-flush-panel door.

The interior of the houses was not inspected as part of the listing process.
