Description

No 13 Market Place is a house and shop, now functioning solely as a shop, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of colour-washed Flemish bond brick and features a gabled slate roof with brick end stacks. The building has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys tall with a symmetrical three-window range. The shop front is from the 20th century. There are flat brick arches above the 12-pane sashes on the first floor and the 6-pane sashes on the second floor, along with a raised eaves course. Similar sashes can be found at the rear of the building. The interior has been partially inspected. This property is included for its group value with the surrounding buildings.
