Description

Nos 11 and 12 Market Place is a building dating from 1893, designed in an earlier 19th century Neoclassical style. It is constructed of stucco and features a concrete pantiled roof with a wide cornice and a central parapet that displays the date. The building has three storeys, with a modern shop front that lacks a cornice. The upper floors are adorned with four tall Doric pilasters and five windows framed by architrave surrounds. The second-floor windows are sashes with glazing bars, while the first-floor windows have been altered to casements. Nos 11 to 15 (consecutive) and 15A are part of a group.
