Description

37 High Street is a mid-19th century Gothic building constructed of red brick with a gabled roof covered in Welsh slate and featuring stone coping. The facade includes decorative black brick diapering and stone and black brick bands. The building stands four storeys tall and has a modern shop at ground level. The first and second floors each have three round-arched sash windows, which are framed by stone outer voussoirs and imposts. The third floor features two tall sash windows situated beneath a segmentally arched panel. This building is part of a group that includes No 30 and Nos 40 to 42 on the same street.
