Description

This building comprises two houses, Nos. 9 and 11, situated on Bilton Road. Dating to the earlier 19th century, the houses are constructed of yellow brick with a Welsh slate roof and a cornice. They are three storeys high and feature plain, full-height brick pilasters. There are five sash windows with glazing bars, each with a stucco lintel and cornice. The ground floor has a canted bay window on the left, and the central window is a three-light design. The doorways include traceried fanlights, reveals, stucco surrounds in the form of Doric pilasters, and round-headed arches with archivolts. Nos. 3 to 11, which are odd-numbered addresses, form a discernible group.
