Description
The building comprises a pair of late 18th-century houses located on Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury. Constructed of brick with a Welsh slate roof, the houses present a three-storey, three-window facade. A doorway is situated at No. 71, recessed within a pedimented surround, flanked by tripartite sash windows on each of the three floors. The doorway to No. 72 is set within a moulded architrave, with a twelve-pane sash window to the left on each floor. The upper windows are a mix of two-light casements and six-pane sashes, with a further six-pane sash window in the attic. Gable and axial stacks are present.
