Description

Addison Place, Nos. 16 to 18, is an early to mid-19th century building on Warwick Street. It is constructed of grey brick with a Welsh slated roof and cornice. The building is three storeys high with an attic, and features a red brick plinth and a box dormer to No. 17. There are seven sash windows with glazing bars, set within reveals and under stucco-faced lintels with cornices. Recessed doorways have rectangular, traceried fanlights to Nos. 16 and 17, and Doric surrounds incorporating pilasters, entablatures with triglyphs and guttae. Side elevation attic windows are present to Nos. 16 and 18. Nos. 16 to 19 form a group with No. 1 Bilton Road.
