Description

The Church of Saint Matthew, located on the north side of Warwick Street, was built in 1841 and features later galleries. It is designed in the Early English style and constructed from York stone by architect R.C. Hussey. The chancel is said to have been rebuilt in 1914. The church includes a west porch and aisles.
