Description

Ryton Bridge, located on Coventry Road in Brandon and Bretford, is a bridge dated 1786, which was widened in 1931 and again in 1974. The south-west portion from 1786 is constructed of sandstone ashlar and features a string course and a coped parapet. The bridge has three semi-circular arches with cutwaters. The parapet flares out and is finished with round piers at both ends.
