Description

Bacons End Bridge is a bridge that was remodeled in 1764 from an earlier structure. It was widened on the west side in 1925 and again in 1970. The stone parapet, which was dated 1764, has been removed during the last widening. The bridge features three stone arches: one slightly pointed arch that is probably late medieval, and two round arches. Part of the bridge is located in Fordbridge.
