Description
Abbey's House is an 18th-century red brick house. It has a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends and a brick cornice with modillion details along the eaves. A string band runs between the ground and first floors. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and originally had three bays. The central entrance features a four-panel door beneath a rectangular fanlight, sheltered by a canopy supported on corbels. To either side of the entrance are three-light casement windows with glazing bars, set within segmental arched openings. At the first floor, a central two-light casement and two three-light casement windows, all with glazing bars in segmental arched openings, are located. Brick chimney stacks are situated at each gable.
