Description
The gatepier and wall, located approximately 2 metres north of Mancetter Manor, date from the early 18th century. The gatepier is rendered and features a moulded stone cornice topped with a ball finial, standing about 3 metres high. Attached to the right is a wall made of English garden wall bond brick, which has a plain sandstone coping. The rear of the wall includes some Hartshill granite rubble. The wall is approximately 2.5 metres high and 7 metres long, although it was originally longer. This structure is included for its group value.
