Description
The left forecourt wall, gatepier, and garden pavilion at Mancetter Manor date from the early 18th century. The rendered wall, which is approximately 2 meters high, features stone coping. The sandstone ashlar gatepier stands about 2.5 meters tall and has a cornice topped with a ball finial. The pavilion has a square plan, one bay, and is topped with a plain-tile ogee pyramidal roof and a moulded cornice. It includes a sash window with a painted stone or rendered keyed lintel, a 19th-century chamfered 8-panelled door with an overlight, and steps leading to the garden. The interior has not been inspected.
