Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1718, built in Flemish bond brick with a moulded wood modillion cornice. It features an old plain-tile roof and brick end stacks. The building has a central staircase plan and is designed in the early Georgian style, standing two storeys tall with an attic and a symmetrical front that includes a five-window range. The entrance has a 19th or 20th-century half-glazed door set within a moulded wood doorcase, which is adorned with pilaster strips and a segmental hood supported by scrolled brackets. The windows, also from the 19th or 20th century, are wood cross windows with horizontal glazing bars and gauged brick flat arches. The central window features a painted keystone with a segmental pediment, date, and the initials R.S. There are three hipped roof dormers, each with moulded wood cornices and 2-light casements that include horizontal glazing bars. The interior has not been inspected.
