Description
The gate piers, garden wall, and clairvoyee located 20 meters southeast of Hoar Hall were built around 1732. They are constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, featuring moulded sandstone dressings. The structure includes a pair of gate piers positioned opposite the front doorway, which are square in shape and topped with a moulded stone cornice. The flanking garden walls slope towards the piers and are capped with sandstone coping that has a half-ogee profile. On the southwest side, the wall is lower to create a clairvoyee, while on the northeast side, the wall returns to the side of the house. There is another similar pair of gate piers incorporated into this wall.
