Description
Grendon House is an early 19th-century building that has been converted into offices. It is constructed of stucco and features a moulded cornice. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has a brick ridge stack. The house is designed in an L-shape, with a rear wing on the right side. It stands three storeys tall and has a three-window range.
On the left side, there is a moulded five-panelled door that includes an overlight with decorative glazing, panelled reveals, and a moulded wood doorcase supported by fluted pilasters with decorated capitals and an open pediment. To the right, there is a wide rusticated rendered cambered carriage arch. The central bow window is adorned with fielded panelling on either side and a moulded entablature, although it features late 20th-century glazing and fascia. The upper floors have sash windows, with the central window having 16 panes and the second floor having 6 panes. The flat arches above the windows are rusticated rendered and include keyblocks. The interior has not been inspected.
