Description
Nos. 113, 115, and 117 Long Street are shops and dwellings built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of Flemish bond brick and feature a moulded wood cornice. The building has a plain-tile roof and brick end stacks. It has a double-depth plan with ranges at the rear and stands three storeys tall with a three-window range.
The front of the building is regular and includes a late 19th-century full-width three-bay moulded wood shop front, complete with pilasters, consoles, and an entablature. There are half-glazed doors, and Nos. 115 and 117 on the left have overlights and two-light windows with elliptical-arched lights and slender shafts. No. 113 features a plate glass window and a plain overlight. The upper floors have 16-pane and 12-pane sash windows for No. 113, while Nos. 115 and 117 have 20th-century centre-hung windows. The first floor has rusticated rendered flat arches with keyblocks, and the second floor has moulded rendered lintels. The interiors have not been inspected.
