Description
No. 92 Lichfield Street is a house that has been converted into offices, built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings and features a tile M-roof with brick end stacks. The building is designed in a Georgian style and has a double-depth central-staircase plan. It stands three storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window range. There are sill bands on the ground and first floors, a top cornice, and coped gables. The round-headed entrance is accessed by three steps and features a doorcase with pilasters, entablature blocks, and an open pediment, along with a fanlight that has intersecting glazing bars above a six-fielded-panel door. The windows have rubbed brick flat arches, with the ground and first floors featuring 12-pane horned sashes, while the second floor has windows with sills and casements. At the rear, there is a brick cornice and a 20th-century single-storey addition. Inside, some windows have shutters and there is a stick-baluster staircase.
