Description

This barn, located approximately 5 meters south-west of Elm Tree Farmhouse, dates from the early 18th century and has mid-19th century alterations. It is constructed of high-quality coursed dressed and squared stone, topped with a tiled roof featuring a chamfered eaves band. The barn includes a hayloft above the cow sheds. The east face of the barn has slit vents to the left and a heavy lintel above the door, which is positioned to the right of center.
