Description
Locker Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with additions from the 18th century and mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed dressed and squared stone, topped with a tiled roof featuring verge parapets and pitched copings, along with end stacks. The building has a T-shaped plan and is two stories tall with an attic, presenting a four-window front. The fenestration is somewhat random, featuring two 19th-century casements positioned centrally on the rebuilt first floor above a central three-light chamfered mullioned window. To the right of center, there is a small light with a chamfered reveal, and a 19th-century window is set into the bank at the right end. The left end has a blocked door with a heavy lintel, which has been converted into a window. The ground floor is made of noticeably smaller, more softly cut blocks. The main entrance is now located in the rear wing facing the farmyard.
