Description

Clay Lake Farmhouse is a 17th or early 18th century farmhouse, with later 19th and 20th century alterations. The farmhouse is built of coursed dressed and squared stone, with a tiled roof, verge parapets featuring pitched copings, and brick end stacks.

The front of the farmhouse is a small, two-storey structure built on a chamfered plinth. It has a single range of windows to the right end, with dressed stone reveals. A 20th-century gabled porch sits centrally, sheltering a boarded door. A significant portion of the stonework to the left of the centre has been rebuilt. A mullioned window is located at the rear.
